ABOUT THIS ITEM
"Everybody Loves The Sunshine" was Roy Ayers 14th long player, but the first one that really struck a chord in the UK. Perhaps because the title track hit big in the sweltering summer of 1976 - the album's original year of release - or perhaps its other jazz-fusion cuts caught the building wave of the jazz-funk / soul weekender movement. Whatever, it's a classic is up there with the best of Ayers mid / late 70s output. It includes the awesome title track (Electric Chair Roadhouse memories...) and jazz-funk bombs "The Golden Rod" and "Hey, Uh, What You Say Come On". Essential!
