Rick Wilhite has dedicated his life to music. Born and Raised and currently resides in Detroit, Michigan and learned at an early age that a career in music takes more than playing your favorite records. Multi-faceted crowd control, sound engineering and creative party promotion are what make him more than just another Detroit DJ. 20 plus years of DJing clubs and parties 24x7, 365 (he never sleeps) makes him one of Detroit's best. Add to that working as a sales assistant at Buy Rite Music in the 1980s (servicing the DJ and not the DJ serving himself), and owning Vibes New and Rare Music, plus being a keen music historian, all gives him the building blocks for strong house music production. This new Still Music album features similar vibes to his Detroit compatriots Theo Parrish and Kenny Dixon Jnr - fucked EQing, beatdown house beats, disco and soul samples and a deep, atmospheric vibe.
