CTR are proud to announce the release of a very limited 7” (500) by one of the most exciting and critically acclaimed acts around.

Poppy & The Jezebels hail from Birmingham and craft finely observed and very memorable pop songs. Their new single “Sign On” is a fine slice of electro-pop remixed by and featuring on synth Daniel Miller (The Normal / Silicon Teens) under his “Larry Least” pseudonym. Assistive production duties are provided by ace maverick pop producer Richard X (Liberty X / Girls on Top).

Informed and enriched by the spirit of post-punk and early Mute Records, it captures the zeitgeist so very well. The words bravely tackling the neglect that young people feel in a world where the baby-boomer generation have royally messed-up. As Poppy herself says: “Lyrically, the song is telling young people to not lose faith in finding a better, more exciting future, even though this government seems to have given up on youth.”
