ABOUT THIS ITEM

Plant Plants are the East London two-piece made up of Stuart Francis and Howard Whatley. In July 2011 they released their debut EP on This Is Music, which was produced by Simian Mobile Disco's Jas Shaw and received praise and endorsement in all the right places.

Following the EP they've since spent the second half of the year selectively playing London shows and quietly writing material for their second EP (the handily-named "EP2"), once more engaging the producer skillz of Jas Shaw. Now in the can and featuring four new tracks, "Embrace The Real", "Repeater", "Stupid Boy" and teaser vid track, "One To Adore" on This Is Music.

This is melancholic yet uplifting indie-pop, but cloaked in current electronic sound trends like synthwave and post-dubstep / post-electro rhythms.
