"The First Days Of Spring" is the second album from British four piece Noah And The Whale. Recorded by Emery Dobyns (Patti Smith, Antony & The Johnsons) the album sees the band opt for a slightly more melancholic sound than the summery feel of their debut. From the six plus minutes of the opening track through to the album's closer, the band have refined and built upon their critically acclaimed mix of folk and indie pop. Recommended if you like Smog/Bill Callahan.
