Mr Scruff continues his vinyl series of cuts from the CD-only "Ninja Tuna" album coming. Except neither of these two tracks ever made it onto the CD. Yes folks, they're Bonus Bait bombs recorded at the same sessions as "Ninja Tuna". "Bunch Of Keys" pays homage the kind of slo-mo jazz-funk / soul-jazz that James Mason used to make in the 1980s. This is a real plodding-but-swinging groove with plenty of Moogy keyboard work to spice things up. "Cat & Mouse (Version 2)" heads down another of Scruff's favourite avenues - the one marked 'bass and breaks'. This is a killer broken beat cut with plenty of bass wobbles, tasty piano lines and beats made for dancing to.
