Manuel Göttsching made his name as a member of Kraut rock legends Ash Ra Temple, he recorded this after a European tour with Klaus Schulze in December 1981 apparently in one take, this was then stored away and wasn't actually released until 1984. An ambient classic which is feted as much by Krautrock fans as it is by techno heads, sampled as it was by Carl Craig on Paperclip People's "Remake" (and later re-edited by Basic Channel).

Balearic-minded DJs will often play both tracks (one per side) for 55 minutes of blissful minimalism.
