The seventh album from Low was recorded with the help of ace producer Dave Fridmann (who helped orchestrate lush turns by the Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev). Although unmistakably Low, this album sees them take on a more punchy, up sound that is no more evident than in "California", a track destined to be Low's first radio smash.
