Laura says: I don’t know anything about Lord Auch, but according to their Myspace, there’s five of ‘em and they’re from London. They’ve just released this four track 12” on the ever-reliable Young And Lost Club, and it sounds pretty damn good.
If you like noir-ish rock’n’roll, with heavy primal drums and rumbling bass, then this is well worth checking out.
Gallon Drunk spring to mind on first listen, as do The Gun Club, and I wouldn’t mind betting they’ve listened to a few Nick Cave records along the way!
