ABOUT THIS ITEM
Smalltown Supersound bring us Lindstrøm's new long player "Where You Go I Go To". This album should be regarded as his debut solo album as the previously released "It's A Feedelity Affair" was actually a collection of singles. We're all well aware of Hans' love of the long and epic, but it even surprised us that this album only contains three tracks - in fact when I first glanced at the CDR we'd been sent I presumed it was a promo for an upcoming single! Closer inspection, though, reveals that the opening track ("Where You Go I Go Too") alone clocks in at almost 29 minutes long, so in the end we get going on for an hour of music. And you'll be pleased to know that he's not had some change of musical direction, but offers us another wonderful selection of sun-kissed, Scando-med Balearic / cosmic grooves to sooth the mind and move the feet. When you listen to this album, you hear that it's still very much Lindstrom - just MORE Lindstrom - bigger, longer, more epic, and more melodic.
