Taken from his recent "Six Cups Of Rebel" album "Quiet Place To Live" sums Lindstrom's current sound perfectly: off the wall, bombastic, progressive, disco, rock mayhem! The track drives along in a house style before an outrageously uplifting prog-rock synthline takes over and the whole thing lifts off like some 1970s stadium rock craziness. 'Extended Disco Version'? Exclusive to this 12"? You betcha! Meanwhile, for the remix, ye olde prog rocker Todd Rundgren slips on his shades to create the first remix he's ever done for another artist. This is what Rundgren nerds / experts have told Smalltown Supersound anyway, and they are, of course, extremely proud to put this wonderful music on wax. Todd Rungren has been a big inspiration for Lindstrom, so this is a dream come through for the Norwegian producer.
