ABOUT THIS ITEM
What happened? We don’t know! All we know is that once in a while every successful couple needs a break from each other. So on this new Editainment 12" (TAIN6) Larry Tiger is alone on the green this time. No Woods around. Just one man and his caddy. Still, he is able to perform a perfect "Albatross" as well as a textbook "Eagle". From the track titles I was expecting 1970s west coast soft-rock edits, but Mr Tiger urges us to get up and boogie, dropping nuff funky basslines, syncopated handclaps, filtering and upbeat boogie-disco rhythms on "Albatross", with "Eagle" slowing the pace for an electroid electro-boogie session that oozes Prelude synth sounds circa 1982/83. Each track comes as an original version and 'bonus beats' / 'dub disco' version. Hot hot hot!
