Another essential double header from Les Disques Superfriends. On side A we have Jonathan Settel's "Gotta Find a Woman". Originally out on a Siren Records 7" released in 1977 Florida. "Gotta Find A Woman" is a deep cosmic soul track with an extra helping of romance / cheese. Jonathan Settel was one of the finest singers in the Jewish gospel world (a fact to save up for that future pub quiz...). On the flip Rolph Marcial hooks up with Esquires for "Black People". Taken from an obscure Trinidadian 7" on Now Production. "Black People" is a beautiful harmony crossover island soul track. Rolph Marcial was also the lead vocal and percussionist from the band Kalyan.
