After a couple big releases on the notorious GAMM Enterprises label, Jazzy Jens now drops a huge soulful boogie EP on Basic Fingers. The first cut is a lovely rework of Mascara's "See You In LA" which features the amazing vocals of Luther Vandross (you'll spot them instantly). With its great piano intro and big stringful production values, this is a fabulous jazz-funk / disco-soul uplifter. On the flip we find an uplifting disco / boogie cut that uses elements from Barry White. "I Want U" chops the Baz bits into an upbeat disco-house groove. It's an amazing feelgood tune that Basic Fingers are hoping will put a big smile on your face.
