Idris Muhammad's 1977 LP "Turn This Mutha Out" yielded a bunch of ace tracks, none more so than the exemplary disco/ jazz-funk of "Could Heaven Ever Be Like This". Aside from the album cut, it was only ever issued on a super-rare promo 12", multiplying its status tenfold - just as well we now have this replica reissue then! On the B-side is Grover Washington Jnr's "Mister Magic", with some superb laid back lead guitar this easy jazz / funk number will suit your bar or warm up set nicely.
