It's all aboard the good ship Balearic Dreaminess as we join the I Boat Captain, aka Tiago, for this rather splendid Is It Balearic? four tracker. "Slower" is a beautifully smooth and laid back synth journey with added guitar melodies weaving a web of Eastern influence while dipping its toes into subtly psychedelic waters. This is sunset grooving at its best. The Backwoods (DJ Kent) turns in a truly mesmerising remix. Hypnotic and dreamy but with an added 4/4 electrodance rhythm, this is mellow acid kosmische-house done exceptionally well. Amazing!

B-side track "Moody Beat" is more up-beat in style. Live drums and funky guitar give the track an almost Alan Parsons' feel, while the treated piano lines make for an uplifting listen. Coyote’s remix is a thumping Balearic-tribal chugger. Heavy dub bass pressure and funky guitars create a trademark Coyote groove, eventually hitting an immense breakdown with some squelchy acid. A true hands-in-the-air winner to round off a solid EP.
