Here we go then, at last the Quiet Village remix of "Kids With Guns" is here, and what a winner it is. Quiet Village take the track and twist it into a mammoth Balearic druggy drum fest. There's a gothic vibe running through the track, with Damon Albarn's vocal drawn out into a drooling lilt, sat on top of a heavy tribal drum track, adding FX and snatches of atmospherics, this is a Quiet Village mix that was worth the wait. As to whether it'll see an 'official' release is anyones guess, I wouldn't hang around in the meantime.
