ABOUT THIS ITEM
Needwant is the new label from Sean Brosnan, who kicks off the label with the signing of Fromage's "Vicious". A record with one foot in the past and one in the future, reminiscent of 80s Balearica with a vocal fit for a New York house dancefloor. Fromage have been making waves in their hometown of Melbourne, Australia in recent years being at the forefront of burgeoning disco scene in the city. After a string of successful remixes, this is their first full solo production. The original is a percussive house groove with disco influences, all bound together with original vocal and instrumentation. The release comes complete with their own remix of the original opting to strip down the groove and take out the percussion for a more electronic excursion. The A-side remix comes courtesy of New York darlings Runaway. Here Jacques Renault and Marco Cabral take all the key elements of "Vicious" and string it out for nothing short of a club monster. Deep and moody with snippets of vocal and horns to ensure this will be heard on a lot of dancefloors over the next few months.
