Trombone maestro Fred Wesley goes solo on early 80s boogie-disco offering "House Party", which turned into a bit of a rare groove anthem. Original copies are pretty scarce, so grab this reissue quick. On the flip Wesley gets back with Mr Brown's backing band for the ace JB's brass-heavy funk grooves of "Pass The Peas". That's not mushy peas, we're talking soulfood black-eyed peas here folks.
