When I did the presale for Chilly Gonzales 'Piano Remake' of Erol Alkan & Boys Noize' "Waves", I was thinking more along the lines of piano house, or perhaps piano pop. What this actually transpires to be is Gonzales classical interpretation of Erol and the Boys' monster electro track. Wow, it's ace. And on the flip we learn that arpeggios aren't just for synthcore producers, as Chilly guides us through his working methods and thoughts on the remake - informative, funny and up for sampling I reckon.
