NY DJ legend Dr Dunks (Keep It Cheap / COMBi) jumps on board the Disco Deviance party ship with a perfect couple of tweaked edits for the dancefloor.

Things set off like a rocket with the heavily grooving vibes of ‘Dunks Got The Answer' a slice of good times disco at its very best and a re-edit of Floyd Beck's 'Party Is The Solution'. This 1980 cut was originally released on Epic and is another of those wonderful disco-funk cuts that managed not to be a smash hit - HOW?! Anyway, with Beck moving to Florida to become a minister, this is one of only two records he released. Who says the Devil has all the best tunes? Then flip over for the epic jazz-funk affair that is ‘On Your Knees’, aka Crown Heights Affair's classic 1978 anthem "Say A Prayer For Two". Dunks re-orders the breakdowns and bridges, peaks and troughs, extends the whole track out for extra dancing pleasure and turns the bass right. Woo-hoo-hoo!
