ABOUT THIS ITEM
After some digital action Dekata Project's "At Least We Can Dance" gets a vinyl release due to popular demand. With airplay on Radio 1's Fabio and Grooverider and Rob Da Bank's shows, and a bubblin under feature in iDJ Mag, the vinyl release was the next logical step. Kicking off the EP is an extended DJ friendly version of the original track, featuring production from the DP team of Sharp and Zed Bias. Its soulful vocal comes from Yvette Riby-Williams, a fresh young talent who also sings with female beatbox and acappella group The Boxettes. This extended cut is Dekata Project at their soulful house best, with heavy beats, jazz keys vibes, horns, funk undertones and soaring hook lines. On the remix tip UK funky producer Roska steps up with one of his tasty dancefloor reworks, while Nu:Tone drops a high energy drum and bass take on the original, dripping in heavy basslines, intricate beats and synth builds that make you want to dance the summer away into the early hours.
