ABOUT THIS ITEM
From Fat City's "Producer No 2" album comes dBridge's slo-mo D&B production "ZX81", given two very special treatments here: Berlin's Shed is a consumate producer and engineer of techno and reknowned for his explorations into dub on labels like Ostgut, Hardwax and his own Soloaction. Here he works dBridge's track into a dusty, brooding piece driven by a gloriously filthy sub-bass and alleviated with an uplifiting skeewed synth breakdown. The remix blends elements of techno, dubstep & d&b in formidable fashion... Killer! On the flip Ramadanman brings his particular warmth of production to the release with a straight up four to the floor creation. After recent heavyweight releases on Hemlock, Aus and Hessle Audio he once again comes correct working a typically heavy block percussive rhythm intensified by motorised keys for a true heads-down effect. Both tracks are being favoured and played by Martyn, Scuba, Peverlist, James Blake, Actress and Instra:mental.
