Danny George Wilson has spent the past decade as singer, guitarist and one half of the sibling songwriting team behind Grand Drive. "The Famous Mad Mile" was produced by Simon Alpin (Willard Grant Conspiracy) and also features contributions from Josh Hillman (Willard Grant Conspiracy) and Ryko artist Jess Klein. It is a record blessed with Wilson's trademark gift for simple but powerful melodies, played on acoustic guitar, cello, dobro, double bass, and only the gentlest smattering of drums.
