ABOUT THIS ITEM
"Love To Make Music To" is Daedelus' best and most playfully accessible album yet, an homage to early rave music from the UK, which he first heard in a YMCA whilst on holiday in that London, aged 15. The album opens with sunshine block party electro-pop cut "Fair Weather Friends", before shifting into the Bmore-tinted sleaze of "Touchstone" featuring MCs Paperboy & Taz Arnold. 1200 Techniques guest on the moody electroid slammer "Twist The Kids", then the show shifts up the gears to the piano-drenched alt-b-boy funkathon "Get Off Your Hi-Hats". There's a beautiful piece of melodic pop in "Make It So" featuring Michael Johnson, before we head back to some nasty rave sounds again. All in all it's an expansive set that needs your attention.
