Following his debut 12" 'Love/Lust', D/R/U/G/S aka 24-year-old Callum Wright returns with a new three tracker for Moshi Moshi's Tender Age offshoot. 'Connected' is a proper peak-time tech-house instrumental which has a driving groove, simple keyboard line (which gets layered up with an identical piano riff later on for maximun ivory-tinkling effect) and other hooky elements. "Hyperdream Clap" is a future-house groove, settling a chipmunk vocal snatch on a shuffling rhythm and echo-laden keyboards. Add to that a pretty hefty dubstep style bassline and we have a cut that should work on forward-looking UK bass dancefloors as well as house. Lastly Wright draws on Manchester's past with "Unified Field", an electro-dance tinted tech-house track with hints of New Order. Another dancefloor smasher!
