Released on DJ Shadow’s own Reconstruction Productions label, and containing entirely unreleased material from 1992 to 1996, ‘Total Breakdown : Hidden Transmissions From The MPC Era 1992-1996’ includes instrumental tracks from an aborted 1994 EP planned with The Gift Of Gab, which features the original demo of what would eventually become ‘Six Days’. This new collection of MPC era music follows on from the much-loved '4 track era' archive releases of a couple of years back, and establishes a pattern that should be familiar to all DJ Shadow fans.
