We were mightily impressed by DJ Nature's (DJ Milo) opening double 12" salvo for Golf Channel, and now the original Bristol producer (relocated to NY) is back with another essential twin pack of twelves for our listening pleasure. "Foggy Monday Morning" follows the same script as both the "Win Lose And Dance" and "This Side Of Heaven" EPs, laying down an irresistible loping beatdown house groove, layered with jazzy Rhodes shimmers, flute and a wonderful grainy soul vocal filtered right back in the mix. "Feeling Like A Woman" is more upbeat, sounding like it's been sneaked out of the back of a Detroit studio while Theo and Kenny weren't looking; thudding beat, more jazzy keys, gospel vocal samples... As close as you can get to Mahogani Music or Sound Signature without actually being on the labels (it's even got a sax solo from a Norma Jean-alike)! A big fat essential on this one folks!
