An epic, throbbing technotronic love letter if there was one, "Need You Now" is a high point in the Cut Copy catalogue and one for the lovers. If "Zonoscope" is the city that Cut Copy built with their new record, a kind of utopian urban jungle, then "Need You Now" is the airstrip that runs right down Broadway.

"Need You Now" has been re-imagined in three dazzlingly different ways. Detroit techno legend Carl Craig has done his thing - that is, glistening, futuristic techno, teasing "Need You Now" out to a monolithic 13 minutes that we wish went for a lifetime. Meanwhile LCD / DFA man Gavin Russom ups the icy robo-funk and brings the back up choir to the fore, in a wonderful fashion.
