ABOUT THIS ITEM

The second album from this New York based singer / songwriter features a number of special guests, including Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser of MGMT (in whose Brooklyn studio it was recorded), former Spacemen 3 legend Sonic Boom (who co-produced, mixed and mastered), Dean Wareham (Galaxie 500, Luna) and Britta Phillips (Luna, Belltower).

‘Mad Love’ sits somewhere between Nick Drake and Spacemen 3, mixing folky introspection and psychedelic astral projection.

The album features seven original compositions, plus versions of ‘Once I Had A Sweetheart’ (as interpreted by Pentangle and Joan Baez), Hoagy Carmichael’s ‘The Nearness Of You’, and ‘Red Moon’ by The Walkmen.
