Never let it be said that Under The Shade are happy to rest on their laurels, as they hit us with another 12". Luckily for us the quality keeps pace with the quantity, and this is another hot release from the label. It's also a second outing for Chamboche (Chambochy? Chambosh? Shambo-shay? How are we pronouncing this one?)(Sam Williams emails to tell us it's 'Shambosh Shay', so there you go). Long-time house head Toby Tobias leads the way with a great rework on side A. It's a slowish Balearic house chugger with spiralling synth arpeggios, nice retro keyboard lines and enough going on to keep the brain as well as the feet occupied. Upping the tempo is the 'Friends Edit', which takes those arpeggios to the filter room and glues them to an Italo / electrodisco bassline. The flipside features two mixes of "The Problem", the first by Rekids house head Brontosaurus - definitely check this if you like those nice simple deep house cuts. Lastly we have the 'November Edit' of "The Problem", which takes us back in the direction of arpeggios and Balearic house.
