In The Current NME as the 3rd best band to look out for in the top 10 bands of SXSW. Expect a ton of press on them in the next few months. This is the debut single. The album will follow in June. Vancouver, BC sextet, Chains of Love caught the attention of California label, Manimal after they mounted several mind bending shows in NYC during the summer of 2011. The band formed in early 2011 on the backstreets of Vancouver when exotic soul songstress and front woman, Nathalia Pizarro met boy wonder multi instrumentalist and mono analog producer, Felix Fung. They added English blue eyed soul singer and all around amazon babe, Rebecca Law on rhythm guitar and backing vocals and a killer rhythm section. The band's average age is about 24 years old, but a non-suspicious listener would assume different when they hear the mixed to mono, reverbed out Northern Soul ditties that hardly run over the 2 and a half minute mark. Their Manimal debut consists of 2 newly recorded tracks, "In Between" (formerly known as "Matt Damon") and "Breaking My Heart". This release serves as a precursor to the 9 song debut LP.
