ABOUT THIS ITEM
This was Bob's debut LP from 1962 and it's funny to think that it was just another record riding the new folk revival. As interpretation was deemed more important than original composition, you get to hear nothing less than the very roots of Dylan's art. His biggest inspiration in terms of style and spirit was Woody Guthrie, but Dylan brought an almost punkish agressiveness to his singing and playing: it would soon set him apart from his peers.
