This 12“ contains remixes from Bjørn Torske's acclaimed "Kokning" album which was one of our favourite long players from 2010. Here Torske gets the remix treatment from DJ Harvey (with Harvey on vocals!), fellow Norwegian Todd Terje and Italy's Crimea X.

It's Todd who has the map first, leading us far away from the bone-chilling cold of Norway, heading towards the Equator with his rework of " Langt Fra Afrika". Detuned drums, catchy horns, shuffling shakers, samba drums and crazy chants - this is a killer slice of Afro-Brazilian-Nordic dancefloor music to melt the snow away. "Nitten Nitti" is up next, its seductive swing given a re-rub by Harvey, who pins the track down with a simple 4/4 groove. Last but not least Crimea X let the arpeggios fly on their Italo reimagining of "Slitte Sko" - cosmic disco lift off!
