ABOUT THIS ITEM
Warp come up with a four track companion EP for Bibio's recent "Mind Bokeh" album, featuring an alternate version of "K Is For Kelson" from the LP, plus three brand new tracks. "K Is For Kelson" is an infectious, summery track, with hints of 1970s 'programmes for schools & colleges' style synths (ask yer mum), loose and twangy capoeira guitars and a hooky vocal - it's one of the most immediate and refreshing cuts on "Mind Bokeh". Opening the EP is the fantastic upbeat soft-pop cut "All Their Sisters", again featuring those trademark 70s Moogy keyboard sounds and acoustic guitars. "Like A Sundial" features saturated 60s psychedelic whimsy filtered through Bibio's production style. Which leaves the sun-dappled hip hop of "Don’t Summarise My Summer Eyes" - an essential offering for anyone who loved Bibio's "Ambience Avenue" sounds.
