Portishead's Beth Gibbons and Talk Talk's Paul Webb join forces to bring us the stunning "Out Of Season". In equal parts melancholic, inspiring, dark and heart-rending, this is a wonderfully haunting LP. It's a largely acoustic affair, with extra sonic FX coming from fellow Portishead man-with-a-Moog Adrian Utley (he co-produces some of the tracks as well), and Beth Gibbons voice left to swoop and soar round the music. Amazing!
