Hector Works triumphantly returns with a collaborative 12" coming to the rescue of marooned disco sea captains the world over.

Label head honcho Anthony Mansfield teams up with DJ Garth, of Wicked and Grayhound fame, for a tune strategically titled "Pancho's Revenge." These two have been been collaborating in various forms of tomfoolery for many years but this is the first time 'original' evidence of their shenanigans has been put to tape. "Pancho's Revenge" is a delightfully sprawling affair, complete with super-spy guitar lines, crisp drums straight from the westside, morse code bass guitar, and enough dubby treatments to make one's skull swirl. Things build wildly as guitar dive bombs and percussion trills abound.

It's the remixes that caught our ears, however: Beat Broker offers a chugging, tribal cosmic disco-house variation with super swirling synth washes, while Illya Santana pushes the cosmic electrodisco vibes.
