We loved Eddie C's opening edits / remixes salvo for the new Kolour LTD label, and now Alex Agore brings us a second EP of tasty DJ treats, this time on red vinyl. The 12" opens with his midtempo soul / soulful disco-house rework of Bert Robinson's late 80s underground soul gem "I Promise you Love" ("Promised You Love"). This is followed by the P-funkin' party-starter "Join The Party ". It's back to beatdown soulful house sounds on the flip with "Man Down", a track that might have graced one of Kenny or Theo's albums from back in the day. "Man Down" also features a remix from one of the hottest names around right now, Tornado Wallace, whose recent outings on Delusions Of Grandeur and SleazyBeats have caused a stir. His is an even deeper house rework.
