Limited three track sampler for Stevie Kotey's full length Afrobutt CD. First up is the CD title track, the awesome "Wunderbutt". Obviously inspired by Harry Thuman's classic "Underwater", this is a rip-roaring nine minute-long epic designed to get the crowd in a total sweat. From the moment the needle hits the groove the track powers along like its life depended on it; four-bar hand-claps, busy percussive backing loop, ultra-simple ascending key riff, some fist-pumping stabs and loads more going on besides. It's an absolute stormer! Taking things a little easier, the flipside features Hindi-reggae-disco groover "Banger Disco" and ultra-deep soundtracky electronic disco instrumental "Cracks All Gone". All are a definite must for the DJ box.
