Chinatown come up with a fantastic twelve here - pressed on brown vinyl as well! 40 Thieves' ace cover of Hot Chocolate's groovy "Don't Turn It Off" gets a reworking from Brennan Green (Chinatown, Modal, Balihu, Wurst), and the results are amazing. QZen supplies super-foxy female vocals, Brennan injects analog goodness with a hypnotizing 303 line and extended arrangement, and away we go into sexy disco-dub-house heaven. Those Hot Choc guys should get a big round of applause for writing such a great song, and 40 Thieves and Mr. Green can take a bow for remaking, not re-editing the original. I heart this!
